The Perfect Simple Gift (and Your New Breakfast Habit)
There’s something magical about homemade granola —maybe it’s the smell of toasted nuts and cinnamon, maybe it’s the simplicity,or maybe it’s the way it instantly feels like a warm hug on a cold December morning.
It also happens to be one of the most thoughtful (and easiest) homemade gifts. Beautiful, delicious, affordable, and full of love.
Why We Love It
• It smells like Christmas while it bakes
• It’s customisable to anyone’s taste
• It looks stunning in a glass jar with a handwritten note
• It’s a small ritual that slows you down in a busy month
• And honestly — everyone loves granola
The Nourished Club Granola Recipe
Ingredients
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup cashews
1 cup almonds
1 cup pecans
1 cup flax seeds
½ cup coconut flakes
1 cup pumpkin seeds
4 tbsp honey
4 tbsp cinnamon
a pinch of sea salt
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 150°C (gentle heat creates the best crunch).
In a large bowl, mix together oats, cashews, almonds, pecans, flax seeds, coconut flakes, pumpkin seeds, and cinnamon.
Pour the honey over the mixture and stir until everything is lightly coated.
Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
add a pinch of sea salt
Bake for 15 minutes at 180°
Remove from the oven and let the granola cool completely — this is when it becomes crunchy.
Store in an airtight jar… or wrap it up as a gift.
I hope this recipe brings a little calm and joy into your December —and maybe becomes a tradition of your own 🎄
